Soltan Hassanieh, CFE

Training & Education Director

Soltan Hassanieh is an experienced expert in both anti-fraud & internal audit fields. He comes with extensive analytical experience and a solid understanding of risk-based auditing techniques with heavy involvement in fraud investigation cases.

Within his career, he gained strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize assignments to meet tight deadlines. In addition to demonstrating critical thinking and problem-resolution capabilities, skilled in negotiating and liaising with other departments. Moreover, recognized as a team player, able to generate new ideas, analyze and resolve challenges, and realize organizational goals.

Mr. Hassanieh is also an experienced trainer specializing in delivering educational pragmatic training sessions related to topics like internal audit, corruption, ethics, governance, risk management, and fraud prevention and detection.

He graduated from Beirut Arab University, Lebanon, and majored in Banking & Finance. He is an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS) Auditor and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

With the aim of increasing awareness, Soltan has created an educational podcast called the (( Let's Talk Fraud)) podcast, which highlights common scams and provides useful prevention tips to help people avoid falling victim to fraudsters. Through real-life examples, the podcast educates the public on the warning signs of fraud and how to protect themselves.

He is a member of the following professional institutions:

1- Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE)

2- Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)

Mr. Hassanieh serves as a board member of the ACFE Lebanon Chapter and currently holds the “Training & Education” Director position on the board.
